The Winfield-Mt. Union boys’ basketball team will start up their season this coming Tuesday, as they play host to conference foe Pekin.

WMU is coming off of a 3-19 season a year ago, one of those wins coming against those same Panthers.  They did lose their top two scorers and rebounders from a season ago, but they bring back many key pieces to last year’s team such as Daunte Oepping, Christian Gerot and Bryant Holtkamp.

Tuesday’s game in Winfield is scheduled to start at 7:30.
