The Mid-Prairie boys and girls basketball teams traveled to Wilton Tuesday for a River Valley Conference doubleheader with the Beavers.

The Golden Hawk girls fell by a 61-24 score. The Beavers started the game on a 15-8 run that lasted the entire first quarter and Wilton held a 22-14 lead at the half. Wilton put the game out of reach shutting out the Hawks in the third quarter while scoring 19 of their own to see the lead balloon to 41-14 after three. With the loss, the Golden Hawks are now 6-3 on the year.

The Mid-Prairie boys came away with a rout of Wilton 74-48. Mid-Prairie had a 26-18 lead at the half before outscoring the Beavers by 18 the rest of the way to coast to the win. Cale Robertson led the Hawks with 27 points, 23 of those coming in the second half. With the win, the Hawks are now 5-3 on the year.
