The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team had their final River Valley Conference quadrangular of the year Thursday when they traveled to West Liberty to take on the Comets, Wilton Beavers and Durant Wildcats.

Mid-Prairie’s lone win on the night came over Durant by a 48-12 score. The Golden Hawks got wins in contested matches from Mason Hartley at 152lbs by fall and Cael Garvey at 160lbs by fall.

The Golden Hawks dropped a tight dual with the Wilton Beavers by a 39-36 count. The Golden Hawks got wins in contested matches from Cael Garvey at 160lbs by fall, Cory Allen at 170lbs by fall, Colton Allen at 182lbs by fall and Gannon Callahan at 285 by fall.

Mid-Prairie was also beaten by the West Liberty Comets 72-13. The Hawks got wins in contested matches from Cory Allen at 170 by 7-4 decision, Colton Allen at 182 by major decision and Josh Wallington at 195 by fall. After the 1-2 night Mid-Prairie has an overall dual record of 8-14.
