The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team wrapped up the dual season Saturday with a trip to Denver-Tripoli High School for the Denver Dual Tournament.

The Golden Hawks participated in four duals on the day winning one. In their victory they knocked off Ames High School 48-36. The Golden Hawks got wins in contested matches from Mason Hartley at 152lbs by fall, Cael Garvey at 160lbs by fall, Cory Allen at 170 by fall, and Colton Allen at 182 by fall.

Mid-Prairie fell to North Fayette Valley 49-21. The Golden Hawks got wins in contested matches from Colton Allen at 182 by 6-3 decision, Isaac Boucher at 195 by fall and Gannon Callahan at 285 by fall.

The Hawks were beaten by Stewartville, Minnesota 48-19. Mid-Prairie got wins in contested matches from Dallas Miller at 126 by major decision, Cael Garvey at 160 by 9-3 decision, and Isaac Boucher at 220 by fall.

Mid-Prairie was also beaten by Denver-Tripoli 69-6. They got wins in contested matches from Colton Allen at 182 by 6-4 decision and Isaac Boucher at 195 by 9-2 decision. After the event, Mid-Prairie is now 8-15 on the year. They will wrestle Saturday at the River Valley Conference Championship meet at North Cedar.
