A woman was transported to the hospital after crashing his car into a tree just north of the Wellman Community Park. At 12:34 Friday afternoon Washington County Dispatch received a report of a woman driving a pickup truck being trapped after striking a tree. The driver Logan Gingerich of West Chester was then transported to the University of Iowa Hospital. Wellman Fire and Rescue were on the scene.
