The Iowa Mennonite School boys basketball team dropped a heartbreaker to Danville Friday in the Southeast Iowa Superconference Shoot Out at Highland High School 64-63. These two teams had met in early January with IMS coming from 14 down in Kalona to get the win. This one followed a similar script. Danville jumped out to a 16-6 lead after one quarter and was still on top 28-18 at the half. Down 12 going to the fourth, IMS put together a frantic rally, scoring 26 in the final frame and taking a brief one point lead. The Bears went the length of the floor in the final 10 seconds and got a basket at the buzzer from Bryce Carr to win the game. Trevor Leyden led IMS with 19 points, Eli Ours had 13, Jeremy Niemeyer and Kobe Borntrager each had 12.
