Two Washington High School Speech groups have been given high honors and selected to perform at the All-State Festival.Six of Washington’s seven events received overall I ratings at the large group contest. One received a II overall rating. The two groups nominated to perform at All-State include the Musical Theatre Group: Something Rotten with Riordan Lujano, Logan Hanson, Stephanie Plants, Sarah Newman, and Abigail Schnicker and the Improv Group of Lujano and Karmen Knipfer. The All-State Festival will be held at Iowa State University February 16th.
