Fourteen area wrestlers have made their way to Des Moines to compete in the state tournament. The tournament runs Thursday through Saturday with the first round Thursday, quarterfinals and second round consolations Friday, and consolation semifinals and finals Saturday. Washington has five wrestlers competing: Walker Ikerd (120), Garrett Ikerd (138), Dillan Sanders (145), Tristin Westphal (182), and Logan Escher (195). Mid-Prairie is represented by Isaach Boucher (195). Area wrestlers also include: Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union’s Jarod Kadel (138); Highland’s Geoff Streb (132), Brady Hahn (145), Cory Stewart (152), and Dan Burton (160); Sigourney-Keota’s Mason Dye (113); and WACO’s Jonah Clark (120) and Jalen Collins (126).
