A faulty outlet is to blame for a trailer home catching on fire in Mount Pleasant. Henry County Dispatch received a report of a structure fire in the 200 block of East South Street just after 5 p.m. Wednesday. When firefighters arrived they were able to extinguish flames in the front bedroom. After investigating, it was determined that a faulty outlet started the fire.

The home was occupied, but nobody was injured. Fire crews were able to clear the scene 30 minutes after first arrival. On the scene was Mount Pleasant Fire and Rescue, Henry County Ambulance, and the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
