The Highland girls’ basketball team had a successful year this year, finishing at 15-8.  They scored 51.4 points per game as a team, which is no easy feat, but the most success came on the boards.

The Huskies were the top rebounding team in the entire state across all classes this season, finishing with 979 boards as a team; 71 behind the second-place team.  This was aided the two 250-plus rebound seasons from Aly Stokes (265) and Abbie Miller (259), who each finished in the top ten in rebounding across the state across all classes.  Alyssa Brase, the lone junior in the starting lineup, also finished near the 200 mark with 176 total boards, which was good for seventh in the Superconference across both divisions.
