Bond was set at $50,000 cash only for a woman transferred from the Henry County Jail to the Washington County Jail. According to the Washington County Communications Office, Wednesday morning 34-year-old Shanna Lee Jones of Ottumwa was in the jail in Mt. Pleasant and had a warrant out of Washington County. The warrant was for pre-trial release violations of two counts of a controlled substance violation, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine and marijuana, and three count of possession of a controlled substance.

The original offense happened February 23, 2018, when a search warrant was issued on a vehicle at Lake Darling State Park. Jones was transferred to the Washington County Jail after being arrested in Henry County for a controlled substance violation February 25th. A jury trial in Washington County has been scheduled for March 26th.
