The weather may say otherwise but the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys open the 2019 track and field season with their first event of the year Tuesday, traveling to UNI for the indoor Dickinson Relays. 

The Golden Hawks are coming off of a tremendous 2018 season that saw them finish as state runners-up in class 2A. Several other area schools are making the trip to Cedar Falls today including Columbus, Highland, and Winfield-Mt. Union. Action begins at 4:15 this afternoon and continues into the evening at the UNI-Dome.
