The Mid-Prairie boys track and field team opened 2019 with a trip to Cedar Falls Tuesday to run at the Dickinson Indoor Relays at the University of Northern Iowa. 

Top finishes for the Golden Hawks included Micah Gugel 31st in the shot put, Aidan Rath 72nd in the 200, Elmir Ganibegovic 84th in the 60m dash, Thaddeus Shetler 118th in the 800 and Carter Harmsen 135th in the 400. In relay events, the Golden Hawk 4×400 team was 21st, the 4×200 team 30th and the 4×800 team 32nd.
