Another round of snow is expected across eastern Iowa Thursday. According to the National Weather Service, one to four inches of snow is anticipated, with higher amounts in southeast Iowa Thursday morning through Thursday night. A winter weather advisory has been issued from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday. A light glaze of ice is also expected.
Impacts may include slippery roads and sidewalks, as well as reduced visibility in the snow. So far this season Washington has had more than double the normal amount, with 41.5 inches so far. That’s about three inches away from the record set in 2010. Listen to KCII for weather updates, road conditions, and area cancellations and delays.
