The final legislative briefing for Washington is scheduled for Saturday morning. Democratic Senators Kevin Kinney and Rich Taylor, as well as Republican Representatives Jarad Klein and Joe Mitchell have been invited to the event. The four legislators were in attendance at the briefing held in February to give updates on topics such as the education budget, judicial reform, and emergency medical services. The event will start with each legislator giving opening remarks to highlight what they’ve been working on then questions from the audience will be fielded. The briefing will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Washington County Courthouse.
