A Brighton man was arrested on drug charges Monday morning. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 10:21 a.m. deputies were out with a wanted person in Brighton. They arrested 41-year-old Timothy Daniel Fluharty on Jefferson County warrants for failure to affix a drug tax stamp, ongoing criminal conduct, unlawful activity, and a controlled substance violation. Bond was set at $25,000. He was also charged with driving while license denied, suspended, cancelled or revoked. He was transported by Jefferson County authorities to jail.
