More rain has contributed to flooding across eastern Iowa. The National Weather Service has flood warnings issued for the Iowa River near Lone Tree, at Columbus Junction, at Wapello, and at Oakville, as well as the English River at Kalona, the Skunk River near Sigourney, and the Cedar River at Conesville.

Major flooding is forecast at Kalona. Water levels there are expected to rise to 19 feet Friday and fall below flood stage Sunday. Flood stage there is 14 feet and at 18 feet water has overtopped roads and begins backing into town on the north side of the river.

Moderate flooding is forecast at Sigourney, Oakville, and Conesville. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
