A man wanted on warrants out of Washington County and Cerro Gordo County was located in Iowa City. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 1:14 a.m. Thursday, authorities located 37-year-old Brandon Dean Eckrich of North Liberty in the 4500 block of Melrose Avenue. The Washington County warrant was for failure to appear for arraignment on original charges of criminal mischief in the second degree and fourth degree and bond was set at $5,000 cash only. He was taken to the Washington County Jail. The charges stem from a November incident where there was vandalism at the Riverside Auto Spa.

He was also wanted out of Cerro Gordo County for failure to appear on original charges of operating a vehicle without owner’s consent and possession of marijuana. Bond was $3,000. Extradition arrangements will be made.
