The history of the United Presbyterian Home will come to life in Washington this week. Three UP Home residents will be presenting a program to retell the history through pictures, a skit, interviews, and with music Wednesday. The three residents are Connie Bauer Crane, Dean Garrett, and Julia Gamon. They’ve interviewed previous CEOs Dick Colby and Mike Moore. The UP Home started in 1947 and has grown to a 35-acre campus with 225 residents and over 120 employees. The historical pageant is open to the public and will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Michael Moore Family Dining Room.
