Students will soon have a new classroom at Washington High School. A greenhouse is being constructed. Agriculture teacher and FFA advisor Trent Steinhart says they’re hopeful to have it finished soon, “The winter has lasted a little longer than we wanted, but we’re hoping by the end of March that we’re up and going.” The FFA Chapter received a $25,000 Monsanto grant to help fund the project. Steinhart says it is part of the ag education department. The FFA Chapter has helped with the concrete for the structure.
