The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls track and field team flexed their muscles Monday on the indoor track at Iowa State University.

The Golden Hawks had one champion on the day with Marie Hostetler taking gold in the 3000 with a time of 10:19.93. Other top finishes for the Hawks included Amber Swart 15th in the 60m dash, Sidney Davis 72nd in the 60m hurdles, Mitzi Evans seventh in the 800, Moriah Brase 48th in the 1500, Tori Boyse 19th in the shot put, eighth place for the 4×400 team of Angelina Evans, Abbagail Evans, Sarah Meader and Mitzi Evans, 32nd for the sprint medley team of Cassidy Rourke, Colby Brown, Rylee Vercande and Angelina Evans, 32nd for the 4×100 team of Amber Swart, Sidney Davis, Colby Brown and Cassidy Rourke, and 36th for the 4×800 team of Jill Owen, Brittany Kinsinger, Ella Cadena and Anna Nafziger.
