The deadline for the spring Washington County Riverboat Foundation grant cycle is approaching. The spring 2019 grant period is open until 5 p.m. April 3rd. The grants are available for non-profit organizations and governmental bodies. Last spring, the foundation presented 58 grants for a total of $5,328,207. The grants included $100,000 to the new Washington fire station, $124,900 for HACAP’s Old Main housing program, and $3.5 million for the YMCA building project.
