Two brothers have been recognized for their more than 50 years of service to a seed company. The Pacha brothers, Maurice and Gerald, were presented plaques in Brighton for their more than 50 years each with Pfister Seed Company. Maurice Pacha began selling Pfister seed in 1961 and then was joined by his brother, Gerald, in later years. They sold seed for over 50 years until retiring. Customers spanned four counties in southeast Iowa, and their seed days included plot tours, seed corn comparisons, and food for those visiting.
