The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys golf team took down rival Regina Thursday to open River Valley Conference play at the Kalona Golf Course.

The Hawks won the meet by a 167-189 score. Meet medalist was Mid-Prairie’s Noah Schlabaugh with a 38. Medalist runner-up was Chaz Patterson with a 41. Other scores for the Golden Hawks included Dominic McCain at 43, Ryan Smit 45, Monte Slabaugh 47 and Mitchell Christiansen 54.
