Washington Demon archers from Lincoln Elementary got the chance to compete at the state level at the recently completed Bullseye and 3-D tournaments.

In the 3-D shoot the Lincoln archers placed second in the state with a score of 1462. Cardinal won the event with a 1503. Top finish for the Demons came from Audrey Smith with a 261, winning the individual elementary girls state championship with her day of 10 10s. Other scores for the Demons included Quintyn Garibay 253, Isabelle Peterson 252, Emma Helfrich 236, Blaine Rees 234, Nicholas Charlier 226, Mila Hansen 220, Ryen Pepper 205, Blake Sheetz 202, Hannah Klinzman 182, Johannah Halvorson 168 and Mark Chenoweth 157.

The Washington elementary team was third in the bullseye shoot with a combined score of 2959. Albia won the elementary team title with an overall score of 3019. Top finish for the Demons came from Audrey Smith with her 262 and round of 12 10s. Other finishes for the Demons included Gabrielle Andrew 259, Isabelle Peterson 254, Blake Sheetz 253, Blaine Rees 247, Quintyn Garibay 245, Mila Hansen 245, Emma Helfrich 242, Hannah Klinzman 240, Ryen Pepper and Hailey Curtis 238, Lily Brown and Gatlin Nash 236, Cheyenne Amland 227, Chance Haskins 225, Teage Pepper 224, Liam Peterson 221, Johannah Halvorson 212, Ethan Hotchkiss 211, Nicholas Charlier 205, Austin Williams 203, Braydon Clough 201, Layne Moore 194 and Aiden Rogers 151.
