The Washington boys’ soccer team had a tough time getting anything going against Iowa City Liberty last night falling 8-0 on the road.

The Lightning jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead heading into the break headlined by a pair of penalty kick goals. The lead continued to grow in the second half for the big win. Benjamin Baughman led the Demons with 11 saves on the day.

Washington drops to 0-2 on the young season and search for their first win on Thursday against Keokuk.
