Oral arguments for a pair of Iowa Court of Appeals cases will be heard at the Washington Performing Arts and Events Center. On Thursday, Judges Mullins, Vogel, Vaitheswaran, Doyle, and Tabor will oversee State versus Brown of Black Hawk County at 1:20 p.m. Destiny Brown is looking to suppress evidence found during a search of her vehicle. Judges Mullins, Potterfield, and Tabor will hear Whitlow versus McConnaha of Muscatine County at 2:25 p.m. In 2018 a jury found Ron McConnaha not negligent  in civil court regarding a wreck where Marsha Whitlow was a passenger on a motorcycle. A question and answer session will follow each hearing. The public is invited to attend.
