The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls track and field team traveled to Clear Creek Amana Friday for the girls Creek Classic Relays.

Mid-Prairie was fourth of seven teams in the class A division, finishing with 79 points. Solon won the meet with 210 points. The Hawks crowned two champions on the night as Marie Hostetler won the 1500 in a meet record time of 4:44.05. The Golden Hawk 4×800 team of Hostetler, Abbagail, Mitzi and Angelina Evans also took gold in 9:55.64. Other top finishes for the Hawks included Amber Swart second in the 100, Mitzi Evans second in the 400 and the 4×400 team of Hostetler, Angelina, Mitzi and Abbagail Evans were second.
