
Both the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks and Iowa Mennonite School boys and girls golf teams will be on the course Monday in conference action.
The Mid-Prairie boys and girls will take on the Tipton Tigers. Last time out the Mid-Prairie boys rolled through Louisa-Muscatine at Cedarcrest in Columbus Junction. The Hawks beat the Falcons by 100 shots led by Noah Schlabaugh and his two-under-par 33. He has led the Hawks as medalist in each of Mid-Prairie’s three meets so far this year.
So far this year the Tigers have a scoring average of 171 as a team. They are led by Jacob Tischuk and Luke Becker with their matching 42 averages per nine holes.
The Mid-Prairie girls are coming off of a 204-219 win over West Branch last week. Abbi Patterson led the way for the Hawks in the RVC win with her medalist round of 43. Tipton comes into the match with a team average score of 197. The Tigers are led by Alli Nash and Addy Duwe with their matching 47 averages per nine holes.
Iowa Mennonite is also on the course in Kalona tonight when they host area school Lone Tree. IMS was in action over the weekend at Mediapolis while Lone Tree last golfed Thursday at Blue Top Ridge in Riverside against Highland. The Iowa Mennonite boys enter with a 213 team scoring average per nine holes this year. London Schrock leads IMS individually with a 45 average. The Iowa Mennonite girls have Kennedy Roth with an 81 scoring average so far this year. Action continues throughout the evening at the Kalona Golf Course.
