The Mid-Prairie girls golf team dropped their first meet of the year Tuesday, hosting the Tipton Tigers.

Tipton took the meet by a 207-226 score. Abbi Patterson led Mid-Prairie with her round of 52. Other scores for the Golden Hawks included Emma Mattes 57, Georgia Nisly 58, Abby Statler and Kendra Schaefer 59, Amerah Rediger 63 and Madelyn Bender 73. The Golden Hawks are back on the course Tuesday when they host Washington and Columbus.
