The Touring Choir at Iowa Mennonite School will be heading to Lancaster, Pennsylvania for the Mennonite School Choral Festival. Over the last couple of months the choir made up of juniors and seniors has been traveling around the area performing at church services. Their final stop will be this weekend. They will be performing with over 600 students from Mennonite schools from all around the country. Senior Karen Cardenas says that her favorite part is seeing how much progress they’ve made, “For me, I think just hearing the songs and how they’re going to sound from the beginning of the tour to the very end of the tour, and how vocally we’ll all progress I think is super cool.” The performance will be Sunday at 3 p.m. A live feed of the concert will be available at mscchoralfestival.com.
