A third deputy auditor has been added to the Washington County Courthouse. At Tuesday’s Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting, Amber Day took the oath of office for deputy auditor after the supervisors approved the appointment to the position. County Auditor Dan Widmer said that Day has been working hard over the past two-and-a-half years, “Amber has done a really outstanding job. When I hired her I said, ‘This is one of these jobs you can take it and put the ball under your arm and run with it, and kind of make into whatever you want it to be.’ And she has certainly done that.” Day assists with elections and the county’s HIPAA compliance.
