Build a family fort and read together at the Washington Public Library. Bring your fort building supplies – blankets, sheets, pillows, tablecloths to the library on April 20th. Librarian Jenisa Harris held a similar event a couple of winters ago and says it’s great to see families work together and then relax together, “I love just seeing families read together, and create a space together. It’s really fun to see, … the last time it was all sorts of different types with really small shelters or really big forts, and just fun to see the families work together, and then enjoy and read.” A snack will be provided. It is free and open to all ages. The Rotary Club of Washington is sponsoring the event that starts at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20th.
