The Washington girls’ soccer team continued their trend of shredding competition Thursday, as they defeated Fairfield 4-1 for their fifth straight win.

Halle Leyden led the Demons with a pair of goals while Greta Rothe and Narely Torrijos also managed to find the back of the net. Washington improves to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the Southeast Conference. They hope to keep the good times rolling Monday when they travel to Mediapolis.
