The YMCA will continue to operate the Kalona Municipal Pool. The cost to the city for the YMCA to oversee operations is $3,000. The pool will be open this summer from May 28th until August 24th. For Kalona residents, season passes are $100 for individuals and $160 for a family of four. For non-residents the costs rise to $120 for individuals and $200 for families. The Kalona City Council approved the contract unanimously.
