In possibly their only home meet of the year the Washington girls’ golf team was not going to be denied Monday, as they cruised past Ottumwa in a dual.

The Demons shot a nine-hole score of 196 while Ottumwa finished with 213. Kiki Guo led the Demons with a meet-medalist score of 37. Other Washington finishes included Josie Tanner with 43, Carly Burlingame with 53, and Emily Waite with 63.

The Demons get back on the links tomorrow for a tournament in Oskaloosa.
