Cows and kids will be taking over the Washington County Fairgrounds Saturday. The Washington County 4-H County Council is hosting an IJBBA sanctioned open cattle show. Check-in is from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and the show will begin at 11 a.m. The entry fee is $35. The Supreme Champion will be awarded $250 and the Reserve Champion will receive $150 in both market and breeding animals. Health papers are required on all animals.
Show up to the fairgrounds hungry, because a pancake breakfast fundraiser will be held in Dallmeyer Hall on the fairgrounds from 7 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
