A jury trial has been rescheduled to June for a case in Washington County. According to court records, the jury trial for 48-year-old Ricky Jackson has been pushed back on the calendar. The trial scheduled for this week has been rescheduled for June 25th at the Washington County Courthouse. Jackson is facing a charge of willful injury causing serious injury.

The incident happened on July 19, 2017, in Kalona. According to the Washington County Communications Office, two men were in an argument with one not letting the other go mow a yard. The argument became physical and one man was bleeding from his ear. Washington County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jackson. Washington County Ambulance and Kalona QRS assisted at the scene.
