The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls golf team traveled to Hunter’s Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Rapids for the Linn-Mar Spring Invitational Tuesday.

The Golden Hawks placed ninth of 14 teams with an overall score of 397. The Hawks were led by Abby Statler with her round of 95. Other scores for Mid-Prairie included Abbi Patterson and Emma Mattes with 100s, Georgia Nisly 102, Kendra Schaefer 130 and Amerah Rediger 131. This is the first time in their history at the tournament the Golden Hawks have broken 400 as a team.
