Due to repairs, Washington’s spring round of the leaf vacuum had to be delayed. Washington’s Maintenance and Construction Superintendent JJ Bell tells KCII News that last Tuesday there was an issue with the leaf vacuum. Crews had just finished going around half of town when it happened. Repairs took about a week, and city staff finished vacuuming the rest of town this week. The leaf vacuum has now been put away until the fall.
