New roof tiles will be installed on the clocktower of the Washington County Courthouse. The tiles will be replaced with Brava roof tiles, which are lighter than traditional slate and are made of recycled material. Work is set to begin Monday. County Auditor Dan Widmer is asking for everyone’s patience while the work is being done, “It’s going to impact parking. They’ll have the street kind of partitioned off, and that sort of thing, just kind of an FYI.” The work will take two to three weeks, weather permitting. The tiles will match the style and colors of the courthouse roof, which was replaced with Brava tiles in 2016.
