The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls golf team hits the course for the third time this week when they travel to Iowa Valley Friday.

In their last competition the Hawks were ninth of 14 teams at the Linn-Mar Invitational at Hunter’s Ridge in Cedar Rapids on Tuesday. At that meet, the Hawks were led by Abby Statler with her round of 95. For the season, Mid-Prairie has a team average of 210 per nine holes, led by Abbi Patterson with her 48 average.

Lone Tree will also be in Marengo Friday. On the season the Lions have a 280 average per nine holes, led by Abby Buckman at 62. Joining Mid-Prairie and Lone Tree in Marengo are Benton, HLV and Iowa Valley.
