Prepare to laugh at this weekend’s Washington High School drama production. The high school cast is presenting The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. The show is directed by Vern Miller. Senior Gwen Flannery shares the plot of the musical comedy, “So it’s a Putnam County Spelling Bee that’s happening. This year is the 25th anniversary and it’s for elementary to middle school students. And it’s sort of making fun of the whole spelling bee plot.” Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. It is rated PG-13. It is on the high school auditorium stage Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
