The West Branch boys soccer team ended the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks match winning streak Friday with a 2-1 victory at the University of Iowa Soccer Complex.
The game was a defensive stalemate in the first half with the match going to the break scoreless. Mid-Prairie broke through first to take a 1-0 lead but the Bears would find the equalizer in the 60th minute and the winner in the 68th minute. The loss, ends Mid-Prairie’s winning streak at four matches and drops Mid-Prairie’s record to 5-3.
