Strong winds and a few rain showers swept across the KCII-listening area Thursday. In Washington, the strongest wind gust for the day was at about 5 p.m. at 31 miles per hour. Ainsworth received approximately a tenth of an inch of precipitation. Rain is expected throughout the weekend locally, and northeastern Iowa may see up to four inches of snow Saturday night.
