It will be another night of area track teams coming together in one location, as Riverside will be the place to be with Highland hosting a meet this evening.
The Huskies will welcome area schools Mid-Prairie, Lone Tree, and WACO to town for the co-ed meet. Danville, Keokuk, Louisa-Muscatine, and Tipton will also be making the trek. A couple area athletes are coming off of performances at the Drake Relays including Highland’s Emily Yahnke placing 11th in the girls long jump and Mid-Prairie boys 4x100m relay finished 55th.
The last tune-up before conference gets underway at 4:30 p.m. this evening at Highland High School. Stay tuned to KCII for any weather delays or cancellations.
