Thursday, the Mid-Prairie boys golf team entertains a bevy of area schools at the 2019 18-hole Golden Hawk Invitational at the Kalona Golf Course.

The Mid-Prairie boys were last on the course nine days ago at the West Liberty Invitational. The Golden Hawks finished seventh with a team score of 360, led by Noah Schlabaugh’s 81. On the season the Golden Hawks have a nine hole average of 172, led by Noah Schlabaugh at 39. Schools joining Mid-Prairie include Durant, Mount Vernon, North Cedar, Iowa City Regina, West Branch, West Liberty and Wilton. Action begins at 12:30 and continues all day at the Kalona Golf Course.
