A What Cheer man has been arrested for child endangerment. According to court records, a Keokuk County Sheriff Deputy responded to an incident at a What Cheer home. When the deputy arrived a child told the officer 31-year-old Brian Reeves-Orr struck her in the face, which left a red mark. When the deputy asked Reeves-Orr about the incident, he admitted to striking the child. He was then arrested and taken to the Keokuk County Jail. Reeves-Orr has been charged with child endangerment resulting in injury, a class D felony. He will appear in court for his arraignment May 10th in Keokuk County.
