The Keota and Sigourney track teams will travel to North Mahaska High School tonight for the South Iowa Cedar League meet.
Sigourney’s Summer Barthelman looks to add to a long list of career conference titles, as she has recorded the fastest time in 2019 in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 400m hurdles, and long jump. Megan Stuhr looks to do some damage in the discus leading the conference in that category. On the boys’ side Sigourney’s Mason Moore in the 3200m, Spencer Magill in the high jump, and Payton Schauf in the discus all lead the conference. Keota’s Justin Moeller has posted the best long jump on the year by over six inches and the distance medley relay is second.
The events get underway at 4:15 p.m. this evening in New Sharon.
