The Southeast Iowa Super Conference gears up for the boys’ conference golf meet today with many area teams traveling to Fort Madison.
Winfield-Mt. Union could contend for a conference championship, as they have the second best nine-hole average in the league with 181, just behind Van Buren’s 179. Nolan Ross has the fourth best individual average with 41.80 strokes. Other area competitors to keep an eye on include Lone Tree’s Riley Donovan with a 42.5 average, Highland’s Jack Baker with 44.33, and Columbus Community’s Tucker Bright with 47.71.
Tee time for the 18-hole meet is set for 9:30 a.m. this morning at Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course in Fort Madison.
